Salvation and Call to Ministry

I became a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of six. I remember the moment like it was yesterday. Riding in the old yellow van with my parents, I knelt between them and prayed the sinner’s prayer. Even though I knew at a young age that God was calling me into full-time ministry, I ran from it until the age of twenty. While in college, I attended a strong church and was under the preaching of a powerful man of God. Through his messages, the student ministry of that church, and God’s constant pursuit, I followed the call into full-time ministry. While serving at Bethesda Baptist Church in Texas, I was ordained to the gospel ministry. This was my commitment to share the good news of Jesus Christ in every facet of my life and ministry.

Ministry Focus

I am called to be a worship pastor, assisting a senior pastor in the body of Christ God has called me to serve. The primary focus of my ministry is to plan, model, and lead Christ-centered worship, so that the congregation is drawn closer to God, personally and corporately. In addition I seek to create an environment where church members of all ages can develop and use their talents and gifts for the glory of God.
