Graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with a concentration in Child Development. We have 3 children Caleb, Jordan and Christa; and 4 grandchildren Kendyll, Charliegh, Leo and Haven. I love spending time with family, singing, playing piano and teaching.
I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior at the age of seven. As a follower of Christ, I strive to grow in the knowledge of him, love and pray for those he has placed in my life, and serve. Serving Christ throughout the years in my local church has mostly been through singing and teaching. Serving as choir accompanist takes me out of my comfort zone on a weekly basis, but God is faithful to help me through and to him be the glory! The fact that God can use me to help lead others to his throne through worship is very humbling and such an honor. Psalm 150:4b says, “Praise him with stringed instruments and organs.”
